The Great Calling of a Spiritual Life / by Maré Hieronimus

We embrace the sacred body in all of her myriad forms.

We embrace the sacred earth and rise with her winds in communion with all that is holy in this world, and in all worlds.

Be free to chose how you would like to walk upon this earth, but do not force others to walk in the way that you do.

For this is a tyranny, whether by individual, community, or government.

If you move to release your fear,

If you move to release your desire for the control of the other, of the stranger even,

In this great release I believe you will find more ease of being, more healing, and more freedom then you ever thought possible.

Live your life.

And let us allow others to live theirs, in sovereignty.

And let us allow truth to reveal itself through time, remaining open, curious and ever-expansive.

Let us allow the light to expand into all six sacred directions of this world, revealing the shadow which has not yet been turned out.

Let us not be afraid to witness this shadow.

Without the simple process of acknowledging this darkness, we cannot alchemize the experience into the light of pure consciousness.

This is the great calling of a spiritual life.

We move to live courageously, and embrace a life of truth and deep integrity in all ways and forms.

May all beings be free.
