What I’ve come to understand is that very few people possess the inner resilience and spiritual courage as of yet to speak their truths. Most people need the support of a consensus view to validate their opinion. They do not yet know how to listen to their own inner experience and gnosis. This is why we have countless teachers and gurus, the blind leading the blind in many cases, where people are moving mindlessly along with ideologies and agendas that are profoundly evil.
But when one connects more deeply to their own internal soul voice and compass, the consensus view begins to mean less and less. As history has demonstrated, the consensus and herd mentality is often wildly dangerous and terribly incorrect. It becomes the mob mind, and no one wants to be subjected to the brutality of the mob. It is this very mentality that has served to dominate, oppress and slaughter countless innocent human beings through the entirety of our human history, and it has happened in this way over and over and over again.
And yet we continue to fall prey to our tribal instincts, allowing ourselves to give our own mind, body, spirit and fundamental power away to other beings that are often driven by their own narcissism and fear, and as a result are serving forces that they are profoundly ignorant of.
Only narcissists seek such positions of power.
Even and especially in those who believe themselves to be enlightened, awakened and “spiritual”, there exists a herd mentality that has now become incredibly dangerous.
In order to separate from this tribal consensus state and begin to individuate, one must find the courage to dive within and to move through the deeper waters of the self. One must begin, through the fires of transmutation, to digest the traumas of the past, and to wrestle the lion in their own lion”s den. One must begin the process of integrating the shadow lands of the self, and through this incredible initiatory fire, we move to understand who we truly are.
Without this fundamental gnosis, it is easy to live an entire life giving over everything to the tribe, to the herd, to the consensus state, without ever having the gift of experiencing the profound nature of one’s inner spirit. What is worse, when we are weakened in this way, we easily become instruments of darker forces. This can now be observed en masse.
The undigested shadow calls each and every one of us into the lions den. Now is the time to deepen into this great work, to allow the fibers of your being to loosen, to allow the structure of the body and mind to soften and to expand. Now is the time to let the darkness show itself, to meet the beast within, so that you might become your own savior. Through this courageous and monumentally beautiful act, we begin to know our own humble and exquisite divinity.
Through this internal mystical knowledge, we understand that to attempt to dominate another sentient being is an abomination, and an expression of the deepest perversion that can be imagined. It moves in direct opposition to an illuminated and awakened experience.
Through this profound internal soul connection - no longer are we subject to the winds of a sick culture, and no longer are we enslaved to the consensus state. Instead we begin to build the internal resilience to forge another path forward which honors all sentient life, and the ineffable quality of the human spirit. We learn to speak our truth, and live through this truth in our higher soul purpose.
There is no more fulfilling experience than this, as we begin to know ourselves as part of a much greater and epic cosmic dance.
