The World will be Saved by Beauty (Dostoevsky) / by Maré Hieronimus

Those of us who have a capacity for looking into the darkness can easily find ourselves lost in its grip.

To witness such horror, such grief, such suffering takes an enormous toll. To witness this all - and also to observe the denial - while being subject to the projections, the vilification, and the hatred, all of this takes great strength to endure.

For the sensitive, it is easy to come out of balance as we absorb, process, and attempt to transmute the energies that we are capable of transforming. Many times we fail, many times we are over-triggered, and slew back the same poison that is being put upon us constantly, for we are under attack.

I, like any other, at moments grapple wildly with the darkness, the denial, the abandonment, the rage, and the pain.

In these times, I am taken to my knees. My system collapses, becoming hypersensitive to all stimulation. These are the times you will find me in a dark room, deep in the womb of replenishment, the cave of the unknown, the space of in between.

Within this threshold space I always return to one experience - the profound healing power of beauty.

The call to beauty is the call to the divine.

It is the call to harmony, synchronicity, simplicity and truth.

It is the deepest balm for the soul - the remembrance of our own exquisite and cosmic nature - and the experience of it being projected out into infinite sacred directions.

How could we not feel immense humility in the presence of such divine grace?

One illuminated soul possesses this immense power.

One illuminated soul can change the world.
