The left has lost the thread.
I’m not sure how long ago this occurred, politics was never my primary interest. My work has always been with the creative life of the human soul.
But these past years have pushed me into speaking about the dirty world of globalism and totalitarianism that we see unfolding right before our very eyes, pushed by the party that pretends to be working for the good of all.
Spare me the arrogance.
So many remain entirely blind - it’s staggering to witness.
To watch the propaganda at work, to observe the policies at play, to see the optics and symbology and tyranny that are operating through this administration completely unchecked and supported by so many human beings, it takes my breath away. The mandates and forced compliance, the destruction of our basic civil liberties to move about freely and to live our lives in the way that we each uniquely see fit, the incredible censorship of any and all voices of opposition to radically totalitarian policies, and - to see people cheer it all on - it continues to bring me to my knees.
These are not the optics of democracy.
These are not the actions of a hero or a savior who swept in to protect you from a tyrant.
These are the true actions of a dictator, who vilifies anyone who dares to question their obscure and obscene “authority”.
I don’t care what you think about Trump, I beg of you to think again about what is occurring in the here and in the now - and the arrogance with which this administration has condemned more than half the country for not accepting their words and reality as the total truth.
This is the very definition of totalitarianism.
Whatever you think of Trump, he did not do this.
The world is much wider, much stranger, much more fantastical than it seems most people can wrap their minds around. And this man, this puppet, this administration, this government is not here to serve you, or to save you.
In fact, what we are observing now is quite the opposite. This is a controlled demolition of democracy - make no mistake.
The truth will shake one to the bone, and few on the left seem to have the basic courage, the humility, and the stomache now to make peace with what is actually taking place.
Instead, countless wander forward, protecting a tyrant who would condemn more than half the country as we all struggle to survive in their ridiculous “new normal”.
I reject every aspect of this totalitarian “new normal”, Great Reset, New World Order and all that it truly represents.
For it is the very movement towards total globalist governmental control over every sentient human life, all in the name of “democracy”.
Rise, wild-hearted and clear eyed ones, rise.
For this is the moment to continually claim our sovereignty, our sentience, and our very soul.
